2010-2011 PTSA DONATION PROGRAM
Last year, your direct donations, along with additional PTSA
fundraising, a Village of Pinecrest $10,000 grant and the Pinecrest
Business Association’s Taste of Pinecrest $5000 donation were used
to provide over $62,000 worth of services and equipment to our
school community. This included the ability to fulfill approximately
$40,000 worth of teacher and department requests for our school,
students and staff. In 2009-2010, the purchases and funded services
included:
- $18,700 Technology enhancements including Smart Boards,
computers, LCD projectors, document cameras, wireless mike
systems, special education proposals
- $13,250 Performing Arts: musical instruments, auditorium
headsets
- $9,630 Educational materials including Media Center and
classroom books, magazine subscriptions, evening and off campus
educational programs, and parent communication through the
newsletter and website.
- $10,700 Staff appreciation and recognition events
- $5,700 Student recognition, reading celebration, college
fair and graduation support
- $4,000 Professional Development
This year, with the continued dramatic cuts in school funding and
economic instability, every donation counts. There is no donation
too small or too large.
